My QWASI People's Choice Award.

Part of my prize for winning the QWASI (Queensland Wildlife Art Soc.) People's Choice Award was 2 nights at the Mt. Cotton Guest House.  I spent the 2 nights there last week and had a very relaxing time, met some lovely people as well as enjoy the great food and surroundings.  I thought it about time that I posted some photographs that I took while there.

The breafast table.  The morning this photograph was taken it was 7C degrees.

This little statue was just to the right of the table.

Rainbow Lorikeets visited for their breakfast as well and were just outside the window from where we were sitting.

Another visitor - a sulphur crested cockatoo.

Just a section of the bush setting.

Here is a link for more information about the guest house.

Hi Rita

We have heaps of lorikeets here in the suburbs as well as cockatoos, so we don't have to go anywhere else to see them.

A nice getaway! Beautiful bush setting...hard to believe it's so close to the Hyperdome. Love the Buddha statue!
