Snow Leopard

Well a board saved by scratching out a snow leopard to completely cover it.  This is quite a large board 11" x 14" so I really didn't want to have to bin it!  I am quite happy with it now and will give it the title of "Animal Magnetism" - the reference photograph was used with permission and which was given to me last year so I have had it for quite a while.  Here's the latest pics of this beautiful animal.

Thank you Judy for commenting on my blog and for your kind words. Likewise, you work is stunning! That snow leopard is absolutely gorgeous; the detail nothing short of astounding! I'm a nut for detail and always wanted to try scratchboard...your work is an inspiration to try it! Cheers, Colette

Judith,
Your work is stunning! I live overseas in Qatar right now; so I will look and see if I can find some boards over here to practice on. I am on Tolefriends and one of the artist directed us over to your blog.

Colette thank you. I am definitely a scratchboard addict these days and have done very little painting this year. Go ahead and try it, you will be glad you did!

Thank you very much Karen....I think I know who the artist is who directed you to my Blog...LOL. I have been a fan of hers for years now! I have to send to the States for my boards so if you need to know a supplier just let me know.
