Welcome to my Blog.
I have been painting for quite a few years now and early in 2008 I discovered scratchboard art and have become totally addicted to this art medium. Scratchboard art is done by scratching lines and dots with a craft knife or other sharp instrument to remove the black ink to show the white underneath, therefore producing the image.
I have always loved to paint but have done very little over the past 12 months due to most of my time spent doing scratchboard art BUT I did recently complete a painting of my grandchildren from a photograph I took on Christmas Day 1994 at my Mum's. The rose was grown from a cutting taken from my Grandmother's garden, so it is Jordan and Isaac's Great, Great Grandmother's rose...I have called this painting "Rose Perfume".
